Mar 16 - Mar 31Art and Education Across the Ages -
This year the art show is open to student artists. The theme this year is the Salem Sesquicentennial Celebration portraying historical events and crafts. It will depict both art by area students and a display showing a condensed history of education in Salem and Dent County. Presentations and story telling will be given on Saturday, March 13, 20 & 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at other times by request. Learning about telephone development and early radio shows will be included. Call for additional information.
May 10 - May 31Exploring 150 Years of Local Culture
The month of May will bring celebrations of the local culture as it evolved over the past 150 years. Events are scheduled for each week-end of the month. An exhibit "150 Years of Culture" will be on display at this Center. See schedule page for dates and times for all events.

 

Future exhibits and workshops are being planned and will be announced. Salem Sequecentennial Events will be posted as dates and subjects are finalized.
